VPC Group Merges Fiber Businesses as Fibrix

We are thrilled to announce that the VPC Group has combined its North American fiber and non-woven businesses under one consolidated brand. As of January 1st, 2024, Fybon Non-Wovens will transition its name to Fibrix.

As a VPC Group Company, Fibrix will now operate under one combined banner in both Canada and the United States. This change represents our commitment to growth, innovation, and our overall focus on servicing our customers. We assure you that our core values, dedication to excellence, and unwavering commitment to our customers, employees, and stakeholders remain unchanged.

This rebranding is a strategic step forward, aligning with our vision for the future and positioning us for continued success. We look forward to this next chapter.

VPC Group Acquires Fibrix LLC

VPC Group, a vertically integrated foam and fibre manufacturer is pleased to announce the acquisition of Fibrix LLC, a leader in the nonwoven business. This strategic acquisition will allow VPC to better serve their customer base across all product lines. The combined strengths, capabilities, and overall footprint of the two companies, provide a positive outlook for increased market competitiveness and growth opportunities as well.

VPC’s non-woven businesses currently operate under its Fybon umbrella in Canada. In the coming months, VPC will use this opportunity to consolidate the identity of their expanded non-woven business under the Fibrix banner. The Combined name will solidify the identity of the two companies, offering one powerful brand across North America.

Current COO and partner of Fibrix Dean Cobb will continue to serve as President of Fibrix USA, while remaining a minority shareholder in the company.

VPC Group acquires Custom Foam Systems

VPC Group is happy to announce they have acquired Custom Foam Systems. Custom Foam Systems is a leading manufacturer of fabricated and molded custom polyurethane foam components for the automotive, healthcare and furniture markets. Founded in 1973, Custom Foam Systems will continue to operate independently in Kitchener Ontario within the VPC Group organization, led by Bob Germann who will remain with the company.

VPC to present at ISPA EXPO 2022

The International Sleep Products Association Expo in Orlando, Florida is the world’s largest tradeshow dedicated to the sleep products industry. VPC will be there to exhibit, to explore and network with mattress producers and other industry leaders from around the world.

VPC will display their many product innovations and well-researched solutions to service the industry’s ever-expanding environment. Visit us at Booth #2142.

New Bed-in-a-Box facility in Calgary

VPC’s new Calgary facility is designed to meet the demands of the growing Bed-in-a-Box market. With state-of-the-art equipment, the new operation focuses on cutting, assembly and packaging of new and existing product lines. Over sixty new staff positions have been created.

The new location complements VPC’s manufacturing and shipping footprint to service the entire North American market.

VPC launches operations in new Winnipeg location.

We are proud to announce the opening of our new location in Winnipeg. This new facilitiy consolidates VPC’s two existing Winnipeg locations and a warehouse under one roof.

The new facility will allow for both foam and fibre manufacturing to service the central North American market.
